CHRisTCHUfICH, March 20. A lad named Gainsford is m the hospital m a critical condition, as the rejuU of a revolver wound m the stomach. He, with other boys, was playing with a revolver on Funday when it exploded, and the bullet lodged ia Gainsford's stomach. Atjokland, March 20. The wife of Morep, butcher of Huntly, suicided by cutting her throat. She had been suffering from ill health for some time. At the inquest on H. Conaghuu IL v ,1 s kill ? d b ? a fall of earth at the ballast pit, Whangarei, a verdict of accidental death, was returned.
