, + . COLONIAL TROOPS IN ACTION. UNDER FIRE FOR FIVE HOURS. BUdOEBS OF THE NEW ZEALANDERS. Capetown, December 12. The New South Wales men and the New Zealanders, both m the centre, with the Dragoons .on the flanks, occupied Aruudel, They were under fire for five hours, but came through soatheless. The New Bouth Wales reinforced the first line m two hours. They only had one horse killed. Artillery and a battalion of Scots reinforce Sterkstorm. 2000 Boers near Oalesburg are breaking the railway communications. The Australians, while eoouting, captured a troop of horses. The New Zealandera prevented the Boers seizing a kopje, killing three.
