CAUSES OF DELAY.
Auckland, February 3. The delay of the Zealandia was due to foulness of bottom and not being able to steam more than 11 knots, two knots less than she was expected to make. She was also detained 12 hours extra at Honolulu. From Samoa she had head winds, with a heavy head swell, being the remnant of the recent gale.
