LATEST CABLES. YACHTING EVENTS. THE LONDONDERRY MINE. [UNITED PBHBB ASBOOUTIOH.I London, August 9. The Australian horse Paris has been nominated for the Czarewitch. The yacht Arilsa won the Cowes Cup defeating the Prince of Wales yacht Britannia. Four yachts compete for the Australian Cup. The London and Australian Corporation Limited is issuing at par £50,000 worth of 4£ per cent, mortgage debentures to redeem terminable debentures. The directors of the Londonderry mine, West Australia, report that the unsettled question relating to Casey's interest m the mine prevents the completion of the Trust. Colonel North, Earl of Fingal, and Mr T. Hewitt Myring, directors of the Company, are prepared to execute the Trust unless the shareholders desire the litigate. The directors propose to comply with the demand of the Australian vendors for the allotment of the balance of vendors' shares, though they are advised the case is full of suspicion. Fingal objeots to the erection of machinery until the mine has been further proved. He regards the prospects of success as small. Only £80,000 of working oapital is available irrespective of North's trust. A meeting is called for the 16th.
