ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
DEAD IN TWO FEET OF WATER. [united pbkbs association.] Dunedin, July 27. At the inquest on the body of William Lees, of Mosgiel, a verdict was returned of death from exposure. He had evidently fallen into the dam, in which there were only two feet of water. It was evident that the man had been trying to get up the bank, but did not have the strength to do so, and as he passed the night with his feet in the water, he died from cold and exposure.
