The course is m capital condition, though a trifle holding. MAIDEN STEEPLECHASE. Wangaimaona ... 1 Gladstone ... ... 2 Silent Friend ... 8 Other starters— Flywheel, Seddon, Tippler, Sawdust, Straightfire and Toprail. The placed horses led all the way. Won easily at the finish by a length and a half. Time 6min 24secs. Seddon, Toprail, Tippler, and Sawdust met with mishaps.
