+ ■Wellington, June 28. MAKLBOROUGH SLEEPERS. On the motion of Mr Mills a return was ordered to be prepared by the Railway Department giving fall information with reference to the supply of sleepers. Mr Buick has given notice to ask the Minister for Education if he will introduce an amendment of the Education Act m the direction of altering the manner of electing Education Boards by giving Com mittees a proportion of votes m pioportion to the average attendance of scholars at iheir bchools.
