THE WINTON MURDERS.
[united pbess association.] Invercargill, May 23. The Courthouse was crowded this morning when Minnie and Charles Dean were jointly charged with murder. Inspector Pardy stated that since the last remand they had ascertained that the name of the child taken by Mrs Dean from Winton on the 2nd May, and supposed to have disappeared between Dipton and Lumsden was Dorothy Edith Carter. As the inquest is pending a further remand was granted for seven days.
