Harcourt leader of the House, approved of this order, and said even if the action led to conflict with the House of Lords, Selborne was responsible. The Committee set up by the House of Commons to report on the matter reported that the Viscount Wolmer has succeeded to the Earldom. May 22. Lord Rosebery will introduce m the House of Lords on Friday a bill enabling colonial judges to sit on the judicial committee of the Privy Council.
