THE WINTON CHILD MURDERS.
* MRS DEAN IN COURT. [UNITED FBBB9 ASSOCIATION.] Donbdin, May 16. Minnie Dean was charged at Milton this morning with mardering Eva Hornsby. The police explained that they ezpeoted to find the child's body at Clarendon, bat it had been discovered m the accused's garden at Winton, therefore the oaie would be taken to Inveroargill. Mr Hanlon, for the defence, offering no otjeotion the accused was remanded to appear m Inveroargill on Thursday next. Jnvbbcabgill, May 16. Ohas. Daan was charged this morning wilb the murder of two infante and remanded on the application of the polioe till the twentyr-third of May.
