THE WILDE SCANDAL.
[UNITED FBEB3 ASSOCIATION.] London, April 30. Taylor swore he was absolutely innocent of the charge brought against him. Edward Clarke, counsel for accused, made an eloquent address to the jury, m which he claimed an acquittal, on the ground that the chief witness for the prosecution was a man of questionable reputation. The judge sums up to-morrow. May 1. The jury m Wilde and Taylor's case disagreed, and were discharged, bail was, however, refused to accused.
