THE LONDONDERRY MINE. Ottawa, April 11. The admission of Newfoundland into the Dominion is virtually assured. London, April 11. Morcham estimates that the Antarctic expedition will cost the admiralty £20,000 per year for three years. Professor Nicholas is taking steps to seoure the publication of his complete report on the Londonderry mine, as the directors of the company have hitherto only published highly favorable extracts. The hearing of the charges against Osoar Wilde and Taylor have been resumed. Obituary, George Thompson, founder of the Aberdeen line of steamers.
