E. Gibson, M.A. The regular course of instruction includes English Language, and Literature, History and Geography, Classics, Mathematioß, Modern Languages, Scienoe, and Drawing. At the Girls' College Class singing and Needlework are also taught. In addition to prizes, there are thirteen scholarships for boys and six for girls awarded on the result of the year's work, besides Provincial, Tinline, and Sobool Commissioners' Scholarships. At the Boys' College there is a cricket ground, an asphalt tennis court, a gymnasium, and a cadet corps. At the Girls' College there are two asphalt tennis courts and a gymnasium ; Drill and Indian Club exercises are praotised regularly. Musio and Danoing are tstrae.
