[rjHTTED PBEBS ASSOCIATION.] Sydney, January 22. Owing to the floods beyond New Castle, railway communication withQueensland is interrupted. Heavy easterly gales are raging along the coast, and are accompanied by exceptionally heavy rain. It is feared m the Newastle district that there will be a repetition of the floods of 1893. The northern rivers are rising with alarming rapidity, and boats are being prepared m expectation of a heavy flood. Most of the farms m the West Maitland district are already inundated.
