RISING IN THE SOUDAN.
♦ AN ARAB SULTAN KILLED. [UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Cairo, April 4. Information has been received of a revolt m the Soudan, Rabah, formerly a shve belonging to Zobebr Pasha, assembled about 30,000 followers, and raided the Bornu Country, eaat of Lake Tchad. The rebels have been successful all flbng tho line, and defeated the Sultan of Wady's troops with great slaughter, the Sultan himaelf being amongst those killed. Rabah headed a similar rising towards the endoflaetjear, and then occupied Baghirmi, a State of Central Africa ; bat the Sultan of Wady, to whom ths country pay 3 tribute, afterwards defeated the rebels and drove them to tha north.
