FRANCE'S EASTERN WAR.
+ CHINESE OPPOSITION TO THE FRENCH GOVERNMENT. A COMPROMISE ASSENTED TO. [united pbbss association.] London, July 27. The China correspondent of the Standard wires that China has decided to oppose the French advance beyond degree 21, and will charter troops m the event of an emergency. The Standard's correspondent telegraphs, that the French Foreign Minister has informed the British Ambassador that Francehas assented to a compromise m connection* with the Siam difficulty. Telegrams from Bangkok states that IBw blockade began on Wednesday. Neutral ship 3 were ordersd to leave Hirea days before the blockade which embraces the Bay of Bangkok and the entire coast.
