Scales & Co.'s New Zealand produco report :— London, 4th September, 1891. — "Butter — Since our last report we have had an active demand for all fine butter, with values constantly rising. Ifc is generally anticipated that supplies from Coatinental and Irish markets will be unusually shoit during th 6 coming winter, and that colonial butter will ba in special request at ielatively high prices. Early shipment of best qualities New Zealand are strongly recommended, and good values may confidently be anticipated. We quote— NormaDdy, 943 to 112s ; Dutch, 100s to 1103 ; American, 70s to 90s. Cheese— Market fairly active, and -sales readily effected at full rates. American and Canadian, 36s to 48s ; Dutch, 443 to 545 ; NewZealanr], 34s to 425. '
