HOLIDAY NOTICE.
Monday, 25th May, will be observed as a holiday by the Post and Telegraph Department as follows :—Po3t Office will be closed. Mails usually despatched on Monday will be closed on Saturday 23rd, at 8 p.m. Telegraph Office will be opened from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Telephone Exchange open as usual, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. NOTICE. The next direct English and European mail via Eio de Janeiro and Teneriffe, per ss " Tainui" will close at this office on Thursday, the 28th day of May, at 3.30 p.m.; for parcels, &c, closing at 3 p.m. Due m London 11th July, 1891. Rate of postage for letters, 2£d per £oz.
