HOLIDAY NOTICE. ! Postal Branch.—-The Post OflSce will be closed on Chrietmas Day (25th inst;), and New Year's Day (Ist January 1890.) Mails usually despatched on -Wednesdays •will be closed the preceding Tuesday, at 7 p.m., and there will be a delivery of letters from the counter between 7 and 8 o'clock that evening. On Boxing Day , (28th inst), the Post Office will open from 9 a.m. to 10 a^m. Mails closing on Thursday will be closed at 10 a.m., and there Trill be onß delivery of letters by carriers, viz., at 8 a.m. Telegraph Branch.—Will be open on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day, from 9 to 10 a.m, and from 7 to 8 p.m. only.
