THE DENNISTON TRAGEDY.
-+ ■— (united press association.) , x , Westi'ort, April 16. At the inquest, held to-day at Denniston, on David Stead Lawton, the evidence of the police and Drs. McCarthy and M'Donnell was taken. The jury found, m accordance with the medical evidence, that David Stead Lawton died from disease of the brain, intensified by excitement. The injured woman remains unconscious, and there is little hope of her recovery. April 17. At the inquest on the body of David Lawton, the medical gentleman who made the autopsy said death was caused by disease of the brain, accelerated by excite, ment. He did not think the man's death was hastened by the narcotics administered. The jury found a verdict of " death from acute congestion of brain." Mrs Lawton is still unconscious.
