♦ . (united jpbess association.) Auckland, Nov. 15. The dead body of a man named H. T. Sharpe, a plumber, was found m Cox's Creek this evening by two boys. A warrant was out for his arrest, ' for alleged embezzlement. One of the oldest settlers of Mangapai, Mr John Hall, died suddenly on Thursday night. ■ Christchurch, Nov. 15. A man named Joseph Henderson, working on the railway at Wilson's siding, near Kaiapoi, died suddenly this afternoon, it is supposed from rupture of the heart. He ran about 200 yards to shelter as the rain came on, and died ten minutes afterwards.
