A PROTEST.
(To the Editor.) Sn;, — In your issue of to-day I observed a report presented to the Awatere Rabbit Board by its Sub-Inspector Dickenson, m which Hillersden is described as being adjoining Tarndale. For the information of tbat officer; and also those who are not better informed,. l beg to state that no part of the Hillersden Run lies within 25 miles of the place indicated ; and, moreover, that the said- Inspector could not find, on the average, one rabbit for each hour's travelling through the day. I trust the Rabbit Board will m future take care that such misleading statements are not placed m the hands of publishers; as this is not the first error m this respect that has been committed by the offioer referred to.— l am, etc] Thomas Cabteb. Blenheim, July 3rd.
