The State op Russia. — A police functionary of high rank told me recently (the St Petersburg correspondent of the Daily News eays) that the revolutionary movement is increasing throughout Russia, despite the extremely severe measures adopted by the Government for some time past. The Miniater of the Interior bas issued orders to watch rigorously all academies and schools, as it has been discovered that the students are collecting money secretly for revolutionary purposes. lam informed on good authority from another source that priests in several provinces of Russia are now among the most energetic members of the revolutionary party.
