Both our town and country millers have large orders on hand for fionr, and with the exception of a few of the large mills', their stocks of wheat are not heavy. Speculation m wheat is not so brisk, but millers are quick to secure suitable liner, especially Tuscan and pearl, while holders of Hunter's are firm m their demands. Sale can be made at 4s Id to 4s 2,1 for Tuscan, and 3s lid to 4s pearl; second quality has a fair enquiry at 3s Stl to 3s 101. ChickwheaE ib co scarce as toy be unquoted ; any small parcel offering commands within a shade of second quality milling. Oats have fully maintained the rise quoted last week. Beans are m the hands of a few, who want 33 4d. Feed peas have a fair trade at 3j 3d, Prnsswui blues are worth 4s iJd to Is Oil for seed. Cocksfoot and ryegrasa are coming more into notice among buyers ; the former is worth 4d to 4£. Machine dressed rye is firmly held for 5s 3d ; farmers' lots, 3s (i.l to 4s 9d, aocording to quality. Potatoe.s have only a limited demand, and sales are only for small parcels, and prices range from 52n to 55s at country stations.
