Tne wool market keeps its fir.nnesa, and prices a*e fully maintained, The market U stronger, and '297,000 bales have been catalogued ; ft'iOO bahis have been withdrawn, most of which has sinca been placed privately. The arrivals for the next scrits number over 200,030 hales. Colnniii stocks show a genenl decline. In an article on (iaancial matters, tbe Seindard say« the money market is vibtimiaed by se2iet s lea, and it expresses regret at the amount of mortgaging that is being done.
