A large party of Colonial officials and visitors proceeded to Cambridge yesterday, where they were entertained at luncheon m Gnildhall. Honorary degrees were subsequently conferred by the University upon Messrs George Bowen, Samuel Davenport, Dr Ju ins Haast, Wm. Clarke and Sir R. Herbert, Permanent Under- Secretary for the Colonies.
