GLADSTONE'S ROUTE.
DRRRY NOT WON RY NATIONALISTS. (special to united press association.) London, July 7. The Pall Mall Gazette says that Mv Gladstone's defeat is becoming a vont. Mr Gdsohen has been offered a seat m Cornwall, and another has been offered to Sir Thomas Brassey. (Through a telegraphic error the word " defeated" was omitted m the Press Association cable raeasage of Wednesday night respecting Mr Justin M'Carthy. It therefore should read ".Mr Justin M'Qar'thy was defeated by three votes for Ijondonderry."] July 8. So far as the elections m the English boroughs have gone, 1 4?> Tories have been elected, 00 Gladstoniles, and 22 Unionists.
