The County was represented by Attewell, Daft, Flowers, Gmin.'f jockwood, Scotton, Selby, Shaddock, A. Shaw, Sherrin, and Shrewsbnry. The weather was fine and the attendance #°°d. An excellent wicket was pitched, the ground being m first rate trder. The Home team went Jirst to the wickets, airl were all disposed of for 107, towards which Shrewsbury contributed 72 (caught), Daft, 42, (bowled). The Australians commenced their first innings, and at the conclusion of the day's play had put together 2;} runs with the loss of three wickets.
