BLENHEIM RIFLES.

Amebtiko of the Blenheim Rifle; Volunteer Company wag held m the Club Hotel on Tuesday evening last. That the first shooting for new gold medal take place on the 2nd November, and the second and third m February and May, 1886. 2. Ranges to ba 200, 300, 500, and 600 yards. Government targets. Class firing positions. Five shot 3at each range. 3. No sighting ahota to be allowed. Intending competitors to send m their names to Vol. Harding not later than 5*30 p.m..on Fiiday, 30th October. Entrance fee, is. 5. Handicaps to be declared on the ground, but the order and time of shooting be drawn for by the Shooting Committee, and advertised on Saturday next. 6. Competitors to shoot m uniform, and eich section of 12— three squads of four— to fire throngu from 200 to 600 yards. 7. Bnles of the New Zealand Rifle Association, bo far as applicable, to be enforced.

8. Any competitor arriving too late to shoot m bis turn to be fined la.

9. Any competitor arriving after hia section of 12 has completed the first distance to ba disqualified.

10. Entrance money and fine 3to be devoted towards trap hire.

11. Traps to be arranged for, to leave Market Place ao as to bring the men to the Butts by the time arranged. The meeting then adjourned.
