THE FEVER EPIDEMIC AT FIJI.
Auckland, Sept 10. The Arawata from Fiji brings files to September 3rd. Epidomio fever at Levaka and at Suva is particularly active. Typhoid has shown itself m Lomaloua, caused by the filthy state of the native towns The Rev W. Roaewarne. Wesleyan Minister, formerly of New Zealand, fell a viotim to it. Many natives' deaths are laid to its charge. Native mortality is on the increase. The death rate from several plaoes is reported as doubling the birth rate orer periods noted.
