ARREST OF THE ASSASSIN.

[beutek's telegrams.] St. Petersburg, March 13. The Czar Nicholas was assasinated to-day by means of the explosion of a bomb. The following are the particulars : — Accompanied by his suite he waß witnessing a parade of troops m the City, when a bomb, suddenly tin own from among the spectators, fell close to where he was standing. It exploded, but did no harm to the Czar. A second bomb was almost simultaneously thrown, and this shattered his legs and otherwise mortally wouuded him. He was at once conveyed to a house near at hand, but died within two hours, from loss of blood, though every effort was marie by the doctors, who were at once m attendance, to stop the How. Ureat consternation was caused on the parade ground when the bombs were thrown, and when the effect of their explosion was seen. Sevsral persons, including some members of the Czar's suite, were killed. Many others were severely wounded. The assassin was arrested afc the scene of the outrage before he had time to escape.
