RESIDENT MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
MONDAY, March 15, Before H. Mclntire, Esq., An individual who had partaken somewhat too freely of spirituous liquors, in order to counteract the depressing effect of the weather, failed to appear, and his Worship, taking the flood into consideration, adjourned the case till Tuesday morning, i / ; All cases in which the parties were not represented in Court, the R.M. adjourned till Tuesday week. CHANDLER V. CHUCK. Claim, L2 4s, for hillposting and hellringing. There was no appearance of the defendant, who was formerly manager of the Sylvester Gem Minstrels, 'and judgment, consequently went by default.
