Owing to the depressed state of the Home Markets, the Manufacturers have been obliged to sacrifice considerably in order to find a vent for their very heavy stocks. On account of the unusually good value to be obtained, our Dunedin Agent has taken advantage of the markets, and forwarded us about 35 CASES OF REALLY FiRSI-CLASS DRAPERY Fully 25 per cent under last year’s prices. For instance—Winceys that were last year 1/6 are now 13-Id. Black Alpacas that last year were 1/- are now 71 d, and so on, the same difference on all heavy goods. For the guidance of our customers we will shadow forth a lew of the leading lines. The Ulster Overcoat for Gent’s, still continues to be the leading garment for the forthcoming season.
