Your rivers up m Napier Gan overrun their banks — They was a pretty shape yer ; Before we had them planks— / I drink your health, stranger, And I aint goin' to bam, ' The nation is m danger If it forswears its dam{n). Them logs will cure creation— That's mighty pesky whisky— • Don't let the floods get frisky, And save this blessed nation, And stranger, its bewilderin' — I'm a gentleman, I am — Say what's the use of children Brought up without a dam ? v Theo.
