W. Kobinson, Esq., of Cheviot Hills, out of his imported mare Betty, which gained third prize at the Royal Battersee Show ; by Royal Conqueror, imported by H. Redwood, Esq. Royal Conqueror took first prize as the best two-year old m 1862, at tli e Royal Battersee Show, beating a large field of horses. Young Conqueror will call at Spring Creek Farm on Thursdays, Tua Marina and stop the night at the Half-way House will stop at Spring Creek Farm on Friday nights, and will be at Ewart's stables on Satimlay, and home the remainder of the week. Innis, Esq. King Fergus was got by Lord Byron, the property of Mr Proudfoofc, Lochmaben, Dumfricshire, Scotland. Lord Byron gained the first prize of £40 at Annas, when four years old ; his stock have gained prizes whereever shown. Lord Byron by Old Prince, who gained, the second prize at Edinburgh, likewise iirsf. prize at-Aberdend Highland Society's Show; Old Prince is by Old Prince Royal. King Fergus was bred by Mr Muir, Lochfergus, Kircudbrigb.tr shire, out of his prize mare, bred by Mr Frame, J3loomfield, Lanarkshire: He gained no fewer than seven first prizes afc home, und many m Canterbury. Sir Colin Campbell's dam, Scotland's Pride, was imported by Mr Lee, and sold t o Mr James Walls, Kaiapoi Island, for the sum of £250 ; this mare gained the first prize at the Highland Society's Show, at Dumfries ; she was out of that well-known Smithsou -stock, by the celebrated Clydesdale horse Lofty, who was the winner of many prizes at Home. Sir Colin Campbell, the sire of Lord Clyde, has gained no less than five first prizes, and the dam Nora many prizes likewise. Lord Clyde will be at Ewart's Hotel, Blenheim, every Wednesday and Saturday; and at Wairau Valley on Mondays should sufficient inducement offer ; the remainder of the week at his stables, Renwick Town.
