RESTRICTIONS TO BE IMPOSED.

WELLINGTON, Jan. 10 Tho Prime Minister stated to-day that the Cabinet- has decided that restrictions would be imposed upon such industries as brewing and sugar-boihng during tho fruit cason, so as to leave as much sugar as possible for janimating and fruit-preerving.
