REGISTRAR FOR 69 YEARS.

Mr Paul Mortimer Francko, harm-tew-at-law, has been appointed a Registrar in Bankruptcy in the room of Mr James Bigg Brougham, who has been senior Registrar in Bankruptcy since 1.85)1 (says a London paper of October IJ). Mr Brougham, who is 9.1. years of age, was prior to 1891 a Registrar in Bankruptcy, and his appointment dated back to 1818. He has therefore been a Registrar for (59 years and thus surpasses the record of any recent personality in judicial ad'aiinistration. It is possibly an achievement without a oarallel.
