STEVENSON'S PICTURES. MARY PICKFORD. A magnificent star attraction, in which the world's sweetheart, Maty Pickford, is in the leading role, will be presented by Mr Stevenson at the Princess Theatre to-night. It is 6000 ft in length and is entitled "Little Pal.?.' Little Pal (Mary Pickford) is the baftbreed daughter of Sid Gerus, the rascally, dissolute proprietor of an Alaskan saloon and gambling den. Black Brand, the camp bully, is in love with her, l>nt she will have nothing to do 1 with him. In a game of roulette the bully breaks the bank, and then stakes ;all Ins winnings against the saloon and the possession of Little Pal. He wins and the saloon-keeper, after becoming drank, ends himself. The setting of the story is the wild, frozen, gold-bearing .wastes of Alaska.; it is a drama in*which there is a wealth of appeal and in it Mary Pickford has given her most unique characterisation yet. It is regarded as a magnificent addition to the long list of world-wide triumphs achieved by this peerless little empress of the ; 'screen. The supporting items are of the best, including "Pathe Gazette," v "Butterflies and Bees' ; (a beautiful Pathecolor), and an excellent Vitagraph comedv. "Colonel Knut and the 100-dollar Bill'."
