John Patrick Head* 4 , who has been wanted in connection with the "joy riding" • ease from Christchurch' to Kaiapoi, was arrested on Epitraima Station, about 30 miles from Muxlerton, to-day. He will bo removed to C'hnstehureh to-morrow. ' - TAIHAPK. July 8. ' A married man named William Mitchell, aged 39 years, a resident of Taoroa, committed suicide with a razor early this morning. At the inquest a verdict o1 suicide during temporary insanity was returned.
