DUNEDIN, June 30. For the first six;months of this year tho number of ibir'ths registered at Wunedin was 90.5, an increase.of 90 over tho corresponding period of 1913. This is the largest, numoor registered at tho. local office since 1832. For the. sa.ma' period the number .of deaths was 433, us compared with .473,; aiid tho 'number oil marriages 372,, as, against 382 for the month ended to-day. The figures are:

Births 151, as compared with 151 for June, 1913; deaths 93, as against 77, and jivai-riages 70,, as' against: 4.2.
