A demonstration was recently made against Mr Rockefeller's attitude in connection with the strike of miners at Colorado, where he has considerable interests, outside the offices of Mr Rockefeller, jun. A number of the demonstrators were arrested, including Mr Upton Sinclair (author of "The Jungle") and his wife and children and M'iss Elizabeth Freeman, an English Suffragette. The Socialists had arranged to parade in front of the Rockefeller offices, wearing signs of mourning, but'the police intervened.
