ASTONISHING EVIDENCE.
AUSTRALIAN ELECTORAL ROLLS. BY ELBCTEIO TELEGRAPH COPYRIGHT. -PEB UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION. SYDNEY, May 12. Astonishing -evidence concerning the Stat© and Federal electoral rolls has been given before the Royal Commission of Inquiry. It was stated that 30,000 names were' on the Queensland rolls which should not have been on. Seven thousand names appeared on from two to five different rolls ; also the names of about 2000 dead people were on the rolls of Queensland alone. Many married women appeared also as spinsters on the rolls. The New South 'Wales rolls were .also described as in a shocking condition.
