('LINTON BEATS MATAURA. A loam from the Clinton Tennis Club j<mrin yed to Mataura yesterday to play a match with the local club. The weather was ideal and a very enjoyable afternoon resulted. The visitors were victorious by a small margin, the final scores being: Clinton 86, Mataura 76. The Clinton players were hospitably entertained by tho Mataura Club.
