MAN WITHOUT A STOMACH.
Ar having liis stomach removed, Mr R. W. Hastings, 38 years old, who has suffered for years with cancer, has returned to his home in Boulder, Colorado, apparently cured (says the rteir iork correspondent of the 'Standard'). Hastings, who is a well-to-do farmer, made a will a few weeks ago, and hadi prepared to die, when he was prevailed upon by his wife to submit to the operation. The entire stomach was removed, together with all cancerous growths. Hastings began to improve at once., and is now said by the doctors to be perfectly fit and well.
