T MATAURA CITIZENS' CLUB
The annual meeting of members of the Mataura Citizens' Tennis Club will be held in the Coronation Hall on Tues---day next at 8 p.m., when the annual report and balance-sheet will be submitted,, the office-bearers for the incoming season elected and general business discussed. The club has two new courts under construction at the Recreation Grounds where it was granted land for the purpose by the Borough Council. These courts will be fit for play in the second week in December and until then members will have to be content with the court at the school grounds, which the School Committee has allowed the club to use during past seasons. A large membership is anticipated this season. When the new courts are ready for use every member will be enabled to play, while novices • will be coached by the older members. A large attendance of members and intending members is requested on Tuesday •rening.
