PEE UKITKH T'ItERS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON. Sept. 27. Several pri •oners camo before Mr Justice Chapman for sentence to-day. James Leonard 1/nnax and Philip O'Donnel, two youths who were arrested en charges of breaking and entering and theft at Auckland and Wellington, were ordered to receive 28 months' and 12 months' reformative treatment respectively. The Crown Prosecutor stated that the prisoners had stolen £l7(> worth of jewellery and £27 in monev in Wellington and jewellery to the value of V-IoH had been remve*ed. Three youths named William Collins, Walter Wake'.ield ; md William Frederick Ix'thl.v. who pleaded guilty to breaking a' d etuering and theft of bicycles' and fniit at Wangamii. Shannon and Marion were reinamled in order that the judge might consult tho Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) as to what should be done with the prisoner*.
