Among other things, the conference discussed tho housing accommodation emulations, conditions of employment as affecting engine-drivers, income tax, State sawmills and preference to unionists. No particulars were given as to tho proceedings, but a deputation will wait on tho Primo Minister on Saturday to placo before him the various representations arising out of the conference, which it was decided to make an annual event.
