MUNICIPAL PICTURE SHOWS.
PBB UNITED PEESS ASSOCIATION. PALMERSTON N., Sept. 25. Judgment was delivered in, the Supreme Court to-day in Hamer v. Foxton Borough Council, an application for an injunction to restrain the municipality from running a picture ehow. The Chief Justice found for the defendant municipality and ordered each side to pay its own 'costs. Hia .Honor held that the Act dad not wive the corporation power to undertake a picture enterprise, but declared that it&s pj?ifliiff had mo right to mie.
