FEB UNITEL PBEBB ASSOCIATION. INVERCARGILL, April 22. At a sitting of the Railway Appeal Board J. Smart, formerly stationniaster at Lumsden, appealed against his dismissal, after 3o years' service, on the ground of lack of control and supervision and other irregularities. The evidence called went to show that petitioner waa a capable officer and that the office was under-staffed. The chairman intimated that a decision would be given at Dunedin. Other appeals are being heard.
