SEQUEL TO AUCKLAND TRAGEDY. AUCKLAND, April 19. Harold Gladstone Brown was charged at tho Police Court with the murder of Manuel Santos, tho caso being tho sequel to the fight between the two men. Accused was remanded, at the request of the police inspector, who said that the charge would be reduced to manslaughter. A PRESSMAN ILL-USED. DTJNEDIN, April 20. At the Territorial camp at Sutton a regrettable incident occur rod yesterday, when a newspaper reporter, whose reports to his paper had evidently caused indignation among the members of one regiment, was ducked in a stream. Fatigue work was proceeding at tho time, and the officers were busily oiirgaged. There was no one present to prevent the action, while by the time the ordterlv officer reached the scene tho men responsible had disappeared.
